GateBit Bridge utilizes smart contracts

Implement logic and rules for cross-chain token transfer. Smart contracts allow GateBit to define and execute various conditions and regulations for cross-chain transfer of tokens, providing users with safe and transparent cross-chain operations.

GateBit Bridge adopts a multi-signature mechanism

In order to enhance the security of cross-chain transmission, GateBit adopts a multi-signature mechanism. When a user initiates a token transfer request, the multi-signature mechanism requires multiple authorized signatures to perform cross-chain operations. This mechanism helps reduce potential malicious behaviors and risks and ensures the reliability and security of cross-chain transfers.

GateBit Bridge data validity

GateBit cross-chain bridging protocol uses listening nodes to monitor transaction status on different blockchain networks, including EVM, RGB, and Taproot Asset Protocol. These listening nodes operate in multiple blockchain networks and are responsible for monitoring related token locking and release events to ensure the real-time and accuracy of cross-chain transfers.

EVM: The Ethereum Virtual Machine is a virtual machine based on the Ethereum blockchain that is used to execute smart contracts. GateBit listening nodes will monitor transactions on the EVM network, paying special attention to the locking and release events of EVM-compatible tokens to ensure the smooth progress of cross-chain operations with EVM.

RGB: RGB is a scalable & confidential smart contracts system for Bitcoin & lightning network. They embrace concepts of private & mutual ownership, abstraction and separation of concerns and represent "post-blockchain", Turing-complete form of trustless distributed computing which does not require introduction of "tokens". GateBit listening nodes monitor transactions on the Bitcoin network related to the RGB protocol to support cross-chain transfers of RGB-compatible tokens.

Taproot Asset Protocol: Taproot Assets (formerly Taro) is a new Taproot-powered protocol for issuing assets on the bitcoin blockchain that can be transferred over the Lightning Network for instant, high volume, low fee transactions. At its core, Taproot Assets taps into the security and stability of the bitcoin network and the speed, scalability, and low fees of Lightning.GateBit listening nodes will monitor transactions on the Bitcoin network related to Taproot to ensure the reliability of cross-chain operations of Taproot-compatible tokens.

Through the coordination of these listening nodes, GateBit can span different blockchain networks, achieve compatibility of multi-protocol resources, and provide users with a wider range of cross-chain operation options. This comprehensive monitoring mechanism helps ensure the smooth operation of GateBit’s cross-chain bridging protocol between different blockchain networks.

GateBit Bridge Security

In order to further ensure the security of cross-chain transmission, GateBit conducts regular security audits. By reviewing smart contracts, system architecture and related codes, GateBit is able to promptly discover and repair potential vulnerabilities and security risks, ensuring the robustness of the entire system and the security of user assets. GateBit is committed to providing highly secure cross-chain solutions and providing users with trustworthy services.
